
Savion Hebron of Neshaminy will be. looking to convert his indoor gold into outdoor gold this spring. The senior and Penn State recruit popped a 21.50 to win the indoor state crown in thrilling fashion in February. Now he turns his attention to outdoors, where he returns having placed second a year ago in AAA to Sayyid Saunders. Hebron returns with a best of 21.37.
The No. 2 returner in the state is Julian Klenner of Westtown. Klenner, a senior, won the indoor 400 meter title and will look to dominate the independents this spring. He ran a best of 21.57 to win the PAISAA last spring. His best challenge in the PAISAA will likely come from Haverford School's Daiyaan Hawkins, who ran 21.87 to take second to Klenner at PAISAAs last year. Indoors, Hawkins was a close second to Hebron. That will be an interesting matchup to follow this season.
