Chanel Brissett redefined the high hurdles in Pennsylvania during her career. Originally a sprinter as her Cheltenham teammate Ciara Leonard won state titles in the high hurdles, Brissett didn't truly start focusing on the hurdles until her junior year, a season that ended with her making the semifinals at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
