How will the team title race play out at the PIAA State Championships?
In addition to all the individual glory, there are also team title awards given out to the top teams in each classification and gender: AA Girls, AAA Girls, AA Boys and AAA Boys.
Today we speculate, using the state seeds, how each of those team races will play out. We scored the meet based on those seeds to give an idea of which teams on paper will contend for the win.
A few notes on these virtual meets and projected team scores:
- State seeds do not always tell the whole story; an individual or relay perhaps did not have their best day or go "all out" at their district meet, where the seeds come from.
- This is merely to give you an idea of which team will compete for the team championships -- not a prediction of how PennTrackXC thinks the meet will play out.
