Linday Regan\'s 13-2 Pole Vault at the Lehigh Valley Conference Championships on 5/11 wasn\'t the only top US effort of the week from PA. The Chris Spooner-anchored Lewisburg 4x800 crushed their own meet record by nine seconds, and nearly took over the top spot in the US with a 7:45.85 at the Susquehanna Valley Conferences in Montoursvile on 5/15. Spooner finished his 1:51.8 leg after a 1:58.5 leadoff by Chris Moreau, 1:58.4 by Adam Renner, and 1:57.1 by Kevin Schoenfelder. Oh, and Spooner also split 49.9 on the winning 3:26.87 4x400. The Lehigh Valley meet was also the home to one Allentown Central Catholic. The Frances Koons-anchored 4x800 posted a 9:19.79 win. Koons also PR\'ed with a 4:51.56 for 1600. West Mifflin deliverd a 42.0 message over 400 meters early in the week at the WPIAL Qualifiers in District 7. At the Mercer County T&F Inv at Hickory, Sharon\'s Auston Papay had a strong day with a 60-09.50 Shot Put, 181-11.50 Discus, and was 2nd with a 172-06 Javelin. In the Philly area, Wissahickon\'s Krista Simkins did what she does, win, with three individual titles in the 100, 12.21; 200, 24.29; and 400, 55.29 at the Suburban One League-Freedom Division meet at Upper Dublin on 5/15. Cedar Crest\'s Andy Miller notched a quick 800 at the Lebanon-Lancaster County League Championships @ Hempfield on 5/15, going 1:51.6. The Miller twins of Manheim Central (now sophomores), have been active as of late, with Craig taking 2nd in the race in 1:57.1, and the two going first and second in the 1600, Craig with a 4:22.8 and Brad 4:23.9. The two also ran on the winning 4x800, which clocked 7:58.2. And Octorora\'s Ryan Fritz cleared 6-10 at the Southern Chester County League meet @ Great Valley 5/15.
