Northwest PA - Metro, Redbank, Erie, Mercer: Earlier in the week, McDowell\'s Nicole Smith took her usual steps and went 37-04 in the Triple Jump, 18-07 in the Long Jump, and cleared 5-03 in the High Jump. She took the 100 Hurdles in 15.1 on Day Two. And Tom Dance, Cathedral Prep, took the 110 Hurdles (14.5), the 100 (11.1) and the 200 (22.4). His 4x400 also posted a winning 43.5. In Redbank on the 13th, Gretchen Colwell of the host school, went 40-07.75 in the Shot Put, while teammate Casey Dinger won the 1600 and 3200. In the first day of the Erie County Champs at Harbor Creek HS, Fairview went 9:48.6 in the 4x800 while the General McLane boys notched an 8:03. The Mercer County Invitational at Hickory wrapped up the week. Sharon\'s Auston Papay had a strong day with a 60-09.50 Shot Put, 181-11.50 Discus, and was 2nd with a 172-06 Javelin. Andrew Rademacher cleared 16-0 in the Pole Vault.
