Taylor went 7.92 in the final to take fifth place at the national meet in Virginia Beach on Sunday. Earlier in the day, he ran a time of 7.90 in the semifinals to win his heat, which improved upon his own PA No. 1 in the event and was a PR by a tad over a tenth of a second..
His top time of 7.90 closes out the indoor season at US No. 8. That time is also PA No. 12 all-time clocking.
