Which sprint squads on the girls' side will be the ones to watch for next year?
Using our XC team scores feature, we can get a look at which teams will have the top returning squads in the sprint events: the 100m, 200m, and 400m. Taking out the graduated seniors, we took each athlete's top times in each event for the season and scored it like a cross country meet. We scored it using each team's top four returners in each event, just like a relay.
The Central Bucks West girls, who won the 4x400m relay at the PIAA State Championships for the second straight time (2019 and 2021) will have a good crop of quarter milers back next season and look to have the top returning 400m squad. North Penn girls, meanwhile, will look to lead the charge into next season with the top returning 100m and 200m squads.
