6/26-Smith wins three, Davis two at USATF Three Rivers Champs @ Slippery Rock

McDowell's Nicole Smith captured three events in the YW group, winning the High Jump (5-05.25), the Long Jump (17-05.50), and the Triple Jump (36-10.50). Center's Allyn Laughlyn threw the Shot 39-05.75 to win in the YW Division. Oakland Catholic's Charelise Davis won two events in the Intermediate Girls competition, the 100 in 12.00 and the 200 in 24.45. Kaetlyn Brown, Schenley, was 2nd in the 200 in 24.61 and 3rd in the 100 in 12.38. She did capture the 400 in 56.02. Uniontown's Breehana Jacobs was 2nd in the100 in 12.28. In Young Women's competiton, Raquel Bender, Penn Hills, went 12.00 in the 100, but it was the Trials. Cassandra McReynolds, McKeesport, won the finals in 12.19. Bender did take the 200 over McReynolds 25.37 to 25.40. Sha-Tira SNell, Penn Hills, went 14.98 to take the 100 Hurdles. Youth Girls sprinter Cambrya Jones, running for River City Elite, took three events, the 100 in 12.75, the 200 in 26.69 (26.39 trials), and the 400 in 1:01.74. Rising sophomore Sean Gil, North Allegheny, cleared 13-11.75 to win the Intermediate Pole Vault. And rising senior Eric Sparks, Hickory, took the YM Pole Vault, clearing 15-03.75, tying the meet record of former teammate Andrew Rademacher, set in 2002. And South Park's Chad Radgowski threw the Javelin 197-01 to win in the YM.
