Gary Martin won the Northampton Cross Country Invitational last year on the boy's side. He ran a stunning 15:13 to open the season. In doing so, he obliterated the course record. He won't be in the field this year, as he's off running collegiately at UVA, so the door is open for someone new to etch their name in the history book.
On the girl's side, Rebecca Snyder set the course record of 18:05 back in 2017. Her 18:05 at the Northampton Invitational was one of the best runs of her High School career. She graduated that same school year and has competed at the University of Toledo since.
