Today - we'll look at the boys returning to District 9. We also added each athletes respective 3200m time and 1600m time (if they ran the event during the outdoor season) as a reference to their potential improvements.
In 2023, Kevin Sherry (Coudersport) won the District 9 (1A) Championship for the second year in-a-row. He controlled the field from the front and methodically earned the title, running a minute faster than Eli Schreiber who finished as the runner-up.
He went on to finish fourth at the PIAA Championship and continued on to have a successful Outdoor Track and Field Campaign. Sherry was recently noted as one of our Seniors to Watch.
