NCAA Womens Teams - The College Rundown Week 6

Conference and National course previews make it a big weekend for Division II and III teams, while most D1 teams take off in preparation for the upcoming championship season. All this and more in the week six collegiate overview!

Division II Ranks

Bloomsburg (PSAC) and Jefferson (CACC) will host conference championship course preview meets, granting many of PA's D2 teams the opportunity to learn the lay of the land. Slippery Rock will host its invite this weekend, and Edinboro will hit the road to Illinois.

BU Invitational:

Bloomsburg University will be the host of the 2023 PSAC Championship. The BU Invitational is an excellent opportunity to gain course exposure two weeks before the conference meet. Eight PSAC schools will be in attendance.

Atlantic Region No.4 Bloomsburg, No.6 Lock Haven, and No.7 Kutztown are the top teams competing (Rankings via USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll). Bloomsburg's Kelley Selheimer, Lock Haven's Elaina Klinger, and Kutztown's Deandra Young are standout runners to watch from these teams.

These closely matched teams have the potential to alter regional rankings at this weekend's competition.

East Stroudsburg's Brianna Hennett is another standout runner who is racing. Hennett was named PSAC Athlete of the Week after finishing 5th in the white race at Paul Short last weekend.

Jack Saint Clair Invitational:

The Jack Saint Clair Invitational is the second meet Jefferson University will host before the 2023 CACC Championship.

East Region No.8 Jefferson (Ranking via USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll) and Chestnut Hill are the only PA teams set to compete.

Keep an eye on Jefferson's Ana Eshraghi.

Bill Lennox Invitational:

Atlantic Region No.3 Slippery Rock (Ranking via USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll) will host its Bill Lennox Invitational.

Slippery Rock has been a strong team this season and will continue to dominate on their home course. Anna Igims is a sure pick to lead the charge.

Lewis Crossover:

Edinboro is the final team to keep on your radar this weekend.

The Atlantic Region No.5 Fighting Scotts (Ranking via USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll) will make their way to Illinois for the Lewis Crossover. Two-time All-American Kylie Anicic has the potential to take the individual win.
