1A Boys - 12:05 PM
Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals
Individuals: Its an open race in 1A. Luke Schneider (West Middlesex has the top time in the district, he ran 16:30. He also won the Cochranton Cardinal Invitational. I'd give the nod to Kam Skelton (Mercyhurst Preparatory), who finished second at the Rocket Invitational and won the Midwest Catholic Championships.
Teams: Rocky Grove, Lakeview (2022 Champion), Northwestern
2A Boys - 12:40 PM
Qualifying - 2 Team and 10 Individuals
Individuals: MJ Pottinger (Grove City) was the 2022 runner-up. He ran 15:21 to win the RWB Classic. Caleb Prettyman (Franklin) finished fourth in that same race. Grove City's Colsen Frank may also contend.
Teams: The defending state champion, Grove City, are looking to start it's journey back to Hershey tomorrow. General McLane, Fort Leboeuf and Oil City will fight for the second transfer spot.
D8/10 3A Boys - 10:20 AM
Qualifying - 1 Teams and 5 Individuals
Individuals: Kamden Kramer (McDowell) is the hands down favorite. He ran 15:18.9 to win the Legends Meet on October 7th.
Teams: McDowell (2022 Champion), Taylor Allderdice, Erie
Girls' Notes and Ones to Watch
1A Girls - 10:55 AM
Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals
Individuals: AnnaSophia Viccari (West Middlesex) is the defending District Champion. She'll have a challenge from Karis McElhaney (Jamestown) who has consistently run in the 19:30's.
Teams: Seneca (2022 Champion), Lakeview, Girard, Eisenhower, North East, Mercer. Its a close battle for the second transfer spot.
2A Girls - 10:30 AM
Qualifying - 2 Teams and 10 Individuals
Individuals: Nadalie Latchaw (Franklin) was lights out early in the year, winning the Rocket Invitational in 18:51 and placing 10th at Foundation. The Cathedral Prep contingent of Lauren Raimy, Anne-Catherine Brown and Allison Bender will certainly mix things up. Also watch for Josie Jones Grove City.
Teams: PA #6 Cathedral Prep (2022 Champion)
D8/9/10 3A Girls - 9:45 AM
Qualifying - 1 Team and 5 Individuals
Individuals: Morgan Roemer (Dubois) is the defending champion and has had a strong season, running 18:19. Also watch out for Bailey White (Taylor Allderdice) who ran 18:55 to place fifth at the Bald Eagle Invitational. The McDowell sisters, Hannah Palmer and Hayden Palmer have also been excellent.
Teams: Taylor Allderdice (2022 Champion), Dubois, McDowell. McDowell is the favorite of the 3A teams.
