Veronica Vacca's historic career was further cemented on Monday as the Mount Saint Joseph junior set a new all-time indoor Pennsylvania state record in the pole vault.

At the Philly Jumps Club New Years Invite, Vacca vaulted an unbelievable 14 feet, shattering her previous indoor personal best of 13-8.5 and cleared Chloe Timberg's previous state record of 13-10.

It's not the first time that Vacca has inked her name in the Pennsylvania history books. In truth, she has a decorated resume adorned with class records and national championships.

Last year as a sophomore, Vacca won a New Balance Nationals Indoor title and the adidas Track Nationals pole vault championship. She also scored a win at Nike Indoor Nationals a year prior.

She now has the freshman, sophomore and junior class state records.

It's mind-boggling that Vacca is just beginning her junior year campaign because she would currently rank fifth in NCAA Division I.

The ironic part in that?

The woman leading those rankings is none other than former state record-holder Chloe Timberg (Rutgers).

Vacca is currently U.S. No. 1 with her 14-0 clearance and it also ranks her 14th all-time in the event. The indoor national record of 15-1.5 and was set last year by Amanda Moll

For now, Vacca will focus on one vault at a time and should cherish her moment with history.
