CANCELLED: The Boys DELCO Championship

The Boys DELCO Championship has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

(Updated as of January 9th 2:45 PM)

The DELCO Boys Championship is set for Tuesday, January 9th. The event will be streamed on MileSplit, with archived footage being posted after the event HERE. The meet is currently scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM EST.

2 Events To Watch:

1. The 200m Dash

Logan Maloney (Cardinal O'Hara) just ran 22.63 to win the Golden Wolves Challenge, but he'll have more of a challenge this time around with Quamere Cosby (Chester) scheduled to race. Cosby is coming off of a personal best performance at the Armory Hispanic Games where he ran 22.12 on the banked turns of the Armory.

On the flat oval, these two will go toe-to-toe and either can come away as the victor.

2. The Triple Jump

Last year's PTFCA Champion, CJ Simbiri is scheduled to triple jump at the Boys DELCO Championship after having jumped a lifetime best 47-1 at the Alvernia Holiday Classic in early December.

However, Jayden Brown (Ridley) may pressure Simbiri after opening the year with a 45-8 leap at the TFCAofGP Meet #1. Though he hasn't triple jumped since December 16th, he has put together a string of strong finishes in the long and high jumps.
