LANCASTER, Pa. - Gabriel Scott (Central Dauphin) enjoyed an explosive season debut at the Franklin and Marshall HS Invite #2, and posted a new PA #2 60m.
From lane 1, Scott got a great jump out of the blocks and found himself with an early advantage. The field couldn't make up the gap and Scott soared to a 6.88 mark.
The time currently stands as a US No. 18. Amongst juniors, it is a US No. 5.
The time was a massive improvement for Scott, who had a previous personal best of 7.16. Scott did run 10.81 over 100m last spring, placing 11th at the PIAA 3A State Championship.
