NE#3 St. Basil girls did not have a great day, as the Parkland girls won the Challenge race, and the Cedar Cliff boys captured the Challenge boys race. Christina Morelli was coming off an illness, and frosh Rachel sprained her ankle in the closing stretch. And in a small race, places add up quickly. Big Spring sophomore Lara Crofford won the championship race in 18:34. Craig and Brad Miller went 1-2 with Cedar Cliff\'s Pat Caufield 3rd. The Millers ran 15:46 and 15:47, with Brad looking back to ensure that he didn\'t get passed by Caufield, who went 15:50. In the boys Champions Race, Annville-Cleona won. Isaac Dunkelberger, a Tamaqua soph, captured the individual title in 16:28. In the girls Champions Race, York Suburban beat out State College, as York Suburban senior Christina Antonopoulos went 19:27 for the win.
