With just a month until the Indoor State Championship, we are kicking off the 2025 Athletes of the Week after a great week of performances from our star-studded Pennsylvania athletes.

The Week's Girls Candidates:

Amirah Nesmith (Cheltenham): With an outstanding performance at The 10th Annual Ocean Breeze Invitational, winning both the 55-meter dash and the 200-meter Dash. She started with 7.00 seconds in the 55-meter dash and continued in the 200-meter dash with 24.20 seconds, which is the best time this season in PA.
Milena Sciullo (Grove City Area): With two more victories under her belt this 2025 season at the Jerome Fields HS Open in the High Jump and Triple Jump. With a mark of 5-6 feet, she won again with the second-best jump this season in PA. She doubled back in the Triple Jump to win with an impressive jump of 38-0 feet.
Alli DeLisi (Penn Charter): Racing two of the most challenging events in Track and Field with the 400-meter dash and 800-meter run at The 10th Annual Ocean Breeze Invitational. DeLisi was able to earn herself second place in the 800-meter Run with a time of 2:11.16. She then came back and raced the 400-meter with a time of 57.52 to earn third place.
Kaddel Howard (Cedar Crest): With her second meet this season, she showed what she is made of, winning both the 400-meter and 200-meter dash at the LLL Challenge. Howard raced the 400-meter first with a PA leading time of 55.84 seconds. She then would go on to win the 200-meter in 24.65 seconds.
Lillian DiCola (Hatboro Horsham): Her first race of the season for this Foot Lock Nationals Qualifier did not disappoint with a win at DVGTCA Meet #8. Running away from the race with a time of 10:03.64, third best this season in PA.
