With the PTFCA State Championship wrapping up, I wanted to examine one of the closest races of the weekend. The top seven boys were only separated by less than 2.5 seconds. The winning 10 or the top 11 PA fastest Mile times came from the state meet. With three of the runners, Vinay Raman (Hershey), Eli Engelman (Episcopal Academy), and Nolan Yeagle (La Salle College HS), all would have been the fastest time in the state this year. With National level meets coming up, we will have to see if these top PA boys will continue their indoor season for the national stage or get prepared for the outdoor oval.
