With the PTFCA State Championship wrapping up, I wanted to look at a race that came down to the finish with Penn Charters' girls Alli DeLisi and Gwen Hamilton dooking it out for the win. The 800-meter has seen many changes, with four athletes able to race under 2:10 and Olivia Cieslak (Haverford) able to break the 800-meter PA state record. In the nation, PA has four athletes in the top 15 this season, showing that PA is ready to make a wave in the national meets coming up with DeLisi, Hamilton, Cieslak, and Neenah Trusty (Friends' Central) representing the Keystone State.
