Per your vote, last week's Athlete of the Week was Keddal Howard (Cedar Crest). Winning the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes at the PTFCA State Championships in 23.87 and 55.13.

The Week's Girls Candidates:

Nataly Walters (Palmerton Area): With jumps double at New Balance Nationals Indoor, hitting marks of 18-11.5 feet in Long Jump, good for seventh place, and 39-8 feet in Triple Jump, good for tenth place.

Marlie Klein (Penn Charter): Racing the Mile at New Balance Nationals Indoor, hitting a time of 4:53.69, which is good for the second-fastest time this season. 

Olivia Cieslak (Haverford Township): Going to New Balance Nationals Indoor, trying to race another fast 800-meter time, achieving a time of 2:04.66 just off her personal best, which is the state record. She was able to place third at nationals.

Amirah Nesmith (Cheltenham): Breaking 7.4 seconds in the 60-meter dash at New Balance National Indoor with a time of 7.39 seconds, which is the fifth fastest all-time in PA and was good enough for third in semis and ran a 7.40 in finals for fifth place. 

Cecilia Montagnese (Quaker Valley): Hedging to New Balance Nationals Indoor racing the 5000-meter running a time of 17:05.72, earning ninth place and now the sixth fastest all-time in PA.
