Per your vote, last week's Athlete of the Week was Marlie Klein (Penn Charter). She raced the Mile at New Balance Nationals Indoor, hitting a time of 4:53.69, which is good for the second-fastest time this season.

The Week's Girls Candidates:

Isabella Costa (North Allegheny): The Senior is starting her season off great, winning all events in both her dual meets. At North Allegheny & Shaler @ North Hills HS T&F Meet, she competed in three events, including the 200, 400, and Long Jump. With marks of 26.18 in the 200-meter, 55.86 in the 400-meter, and 18-4 feet in the Long Jump. 

Virginia Kraus (Saucon Valley): A Junior starting off her season with victories at her dual meet Saucon Valley @ Southern Lehigh 2025. She was able to run a pr in the 1600-meter of 4:57.06, and in the 3200-meter, she ran 11:03.56. 

Makayla Keck (Blue Mountain): Heading to the NEPA Throws Invitational, winning all events with a 30-5 foot Shot Put, which is a personal best, and a 140-3 foot Javelin throw. 

Kate Harnish (Penn Manor): She had a strong beginning to her Outdoor campaign with a win in Pole Vault with a mark of 12-5 feet and 17-10 feet in the Long Jump for second at the Penn Manor HS vs JP McCaskey dual meet. 

Emily Edelman (Manheim Township): She is starting her final season off strong with personal bests in both the Shot Put and Javelin. The past week, she competed at her dual meet, Hempfield HS vs Manheim Township HS, winning both the Shot Put, 40-0.5 feet, and Javelin 103-4 feet. She also got third in Discus with 82 feet.
