It's just as you plan it. Train hard. Survive the nicks and scrapes. And get healthy and faster as you approach the prime time part of the season. The Council Rock North and South boys and the girls and boys of Hatboro Horsham seem to be following that familiar course. The North one-two of John Mahoney and Brandon Pomerantz did it once again, going 16:10 and 16:11 respectively to lead their team to the season and meet championships in the National Conference. Council Rock South ambushed the strong Hatboro-Horsham boys squad, winning the season championship by a point after taking the Continental meet behind Mike Terzyk's 3rd place 16:41. Kyle Murray of Central Bucks South ran 16:15 for the win, with Hatboro's Josh Hibbs 2nd in 16:24. Late in the season you'll find Hatboro's Theresa Gould moving toward the front. She's running 3rd for the Hatters now. The team put together a 1:03 spread behind the one-two of soph's Kerry Swayne and Brittany Sullivan, in at 20:00 and 20:10. Hatboro also won the season championship in the Continental Conference. In the National Conference, Pennridge took the season championship by a point over Council Rock North. North won the meet behind Allison Sikora's 20:03.
