Carrington Queen, the Chichester hurdling talent, got his steps going early with an 8.1 in the semis, and an easy win in 8.3. Penn Charter\'s Kamal Marell posted the fastest 55 dash of the day, a 7.0 in the semis, but was beaten in the finals by Penncrest\'s Andrew McCloskey, both timed in 7.1. Archbishop Carroll continued to show the improvement the distance program has achieved as they ran 11:00.1 to take the DMR. Scott Henkelman of Strath Haven long-jumped 22-04.75, with Alex Trembloy, Downingtown East at 21-10, while Mike Morgant of Penncrest won the Shot Put with a throw of 50-03.75. 2004 Indoor state 5th place finisher Max Westman of Lower Merion stepped up to the 800 for his first meet, winning in 2:06.3.
