West Catholic and Glen Mills enjoyed a day without rain as they combined to win three relays at the postponed Diamond State Relays at A.I. duPont School in Delaware. Nia Ali, Kneisha Sheard, Christiana Taylor and Latavia Thomas just beat Glasgow DE by less than a second in the 4x200, timed in 1:42.38.
The Glen Mills boys captured the 4x100 in 44.30, and the 4x400 in 3:30.30. Wendell Simpkins and Herbert Jackson combined for a one-two and two-three finish in the Long and Triple jumps. Simpkins went 22-11.50 and 44-00.00, while his team wasn\'t far behind at 21-03.25 and 43-10.50. And Glen Mills has a shot putter over 50 again, with Courtland Colter, who took the event with a throw of 50-01.75.
