Breaking twelve meet records - even in a meet which is relatively new -
is a pretty good day at the track. Great Valley\'s Janessa Murphy set
three individual records, winning the 100 in 12.10 seconds, and
long-jumping 18-06, but missing her third record of the day in taking
the 200 in 25.69. Frosh talent Ryann Krais of Methacton won two events, the 400 in 56.83 (not a recrod - see how difficult these records are to break?)... and the 300 Hurdles in a meet record 44.99. West Chester Henderson set a meet record 49.62 in the 4x100. Unionville senior Katie Thaeder ran an 11:26.46 meet record in the 3200. Simona Sipple triple jumped 37-08.75, a meet record; and Emily Moles of Conestoga cleared 5-06 to raise the bar in the High Jump. Downingtown East\'s Kelly Kajunski also cleared the same height, taking 2nd on misses, and sharing the record.
