Athens captured 2nd place in the boys competition, and 3rd in the girls at the annual NY-PA Windsor NY Invitational. The Montrose boys would finish 3rd. Athens\' assault was led by junior Missi Miller, who ran a 12.6 in winning the100 and 26.1 to take the 200. She was also on the winning 4x400 squad that ran 4:15.3. Susquehanna Community\'s Amber Gaffney cleared 10-00 to win the Pole Vault. Tara Chiarella of Montrose posted a 5:04.8 1500, good for 2nd place. And Larry Lundy and Bob O\'Malley, both of Montrose, went one-two in the Shot Put, with Lundy\'s 50-06.50 exactly five inches better than his teammate\'s effort.
