Star sprinter Dynasty McGee joins track power Penn State

Dynasty McGee, a senior at Ypsilanti HS in Ypsilanti, MI, recently made her college decision.  Dynasty commited to Penn State University, a team that was ranked US#4 last outdoor season in Division 1.

 

Penn State has finished in the top 4 teams in the country two times in the last three years. They are also the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Big Ten outdoor champions.  Last year they won Cross country, Indoor and Outdoor championships in the Big Ten.  Penn state won last years USTFCCCA Outdoor Scholar Team of the Year.

 

Dynasty  is a two-time Nike Indoor All-American (2008, 2010).  Last year she was a member of National Scholastic All-American team both Indoor and Outdoor.  She also competed on Team USA in the Carribean last year, winning the 400, 400 meter hurdles and anchoring the winning 4x400 meter relay team.  She holds the Michigan state record for most Indoor State titles with 8.  She is the Michigan indoor state record-holder in the Long Jump and triple jump.  Dynasty is also a two-time Michigan outdoor State champion.  She also holds 4 National Indoor AAU age-group records.  She is also a two-time member of the Michigan Academic All-State team.
