
Pennsylvania high school track and field athletes posted several personal records at meets during the week of April 6.
Luke Rebert (Delone Catholic) cleared 6-4 in the high jump at the Arctic Blast Invitational on April 11, improving from his previous best of 5-8. The mark set a school record and moved him to #58 in the state rankings while placing first among 22 competitors.
Glen Strickler (Connellsville) threw 57-4 in the shot put at the Lady Spartan/Wildcat Invitational on April 11, bettering his previous personal record of 48-11.5 from March. The throw ranks #17 in Pennsylvania and earned first place out of 51 competitors.
Amann NDikwe (Elizabethtown Area) ran 15.19 in the 110-meter hurdles at the 37th Pan Ram Invitational on April 11, dropping from his previous best of 16.71. The junior placed third of 37 competitors and ranks #22 among juniors statewide.
Michael Gauby (Schuylkill Valley) launched the discus 176-9 at the 22nd Annual Jeff Bradley Track & Field Invitational on April 11, improving from 157-4. The senior won the event among 33 throwers and ranks #9 in Pennsylvania.
William Turner (Unionville) clocked 9:41.13 in the 3200 meters at the American Division Supermeet Part 2 on April 9, cutting nearly 44 seconds from his previous best of 10:25.26 set in October. The junior finished second of 20 runners.
Keegan Munch (Stroudsburg) threw the javelin 201-7 at the Northwest Rangers Invitational on April 10, extending his personal record from 178-0. The junior won the event among 31 competitors and ranks #8 statewide.
Tyler Crawford (Washington) jumped 21-8.5 in the long jump at the Chartiers-Houston Invitational on April 11, improving from 20-5. Crawford also set a personal record of 41-5 in the triple jump at the same meet, winning both events.
Hunter Bordner (Shikellamy) leaped 48-0.25 in the triple jump at the Don Wilhour Selinsgrove Classic on April 11, extending his previous best of 45-3. The mark set a school record and ranks #1 among seniors statewide.
Alex Clark (Notre Dame Green Pond) ran 10.50 in the 100 meters at Notre Dame GP at Palisades on April 9, improving from 10.78. The time set a school record and ranks #11 in Pennsylvania while winning the event among 11 sprinters.
Patrick O'Brien (Susquehannock) cleared 15-1 in the pole vault at the 37th Pan Ram Invitational on April 11, bettering his previous height of 14-6. The vault set a school record and ranks #7 statewide while earning first place among 29 vaulters.
