Kadeem Jackson of William Penn (6.41, US#2) and Shaun Palmer of Central Dauphin East (6.46) went 1-2 in PA in the 55 meter dash. Ben Steele of Central Dauphin East cleared 14-3 to win the pole vault. For the girls, Kathleen McPhillips of Carlisle cleared 11-2 to win the pole vault, jumped 17-06.50 to win the long jump, and jumped 35-05.75 to win the triple jump. Coatesville ran 1:48.24 to win the 4x200 meter relay.

Shelley Black of James M Coughlin improved on her state lead in the 55 meter hurdles by .1 seconds and moved up to 4th in the country with her winning time of 8.13. Black also won the long jump with a mark of 17-09. Megan McGovern of North Penn was also a double winner, winning the 3000 meter run in 10:27.90 (PA#4) and the 1600 meter run in 5:18.38. North Penn won the 4x800 (9:46.53, PA#4) and 4x200 meter relays (1:52.17). Virginia LaMacchia of Central Columbia cleared 11 feet even to win the pole vault, Michelle Adigue of Susquehanna Township (with her medal in photo by Patty Morgan) cleared 5-3 to win the high jump, and Kalena Anderson of Pine Grove threw 38-04 to win the shot put.
For the boys, Spring Ford ran 3:32.28 to win the 4x400 meter relay, Adam Bridgeforth of Nazareth ran 7.95 to place 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles, Donny Scatena of Central Columbia cleared 14 feet even to win the pole vault, Austin Rizzon of Williamsport was 2nd in the long jump with a PA#4 mark of 22-03, Hiree Peoples of Girard College cleared 6-3 to win the high jump, and Terrance Edwards of Norristown cleared 54-05 to win the shot put.

Abington girls won the 4x400 meter relay championship heat with a huge US#3 time of 3:54.08. Leah Nugent was a member of that relay team and she also ran the fastest prelim time in the 55 meter hurdles with a PA#2 time of 8.25, but false started in the semi finals. They also won the 4x200 meter relay with a US#5 time of 1:42.82. Jordan Matthews jumped 18-5.25 in the long jump to win that event. Abington's boys ran a US#2 time of 10:25.69 to win the championship heat of the distance medley. They also came back and won the championship section of the 4x800 meter relay with a US#5 time of 8:00.32. Tevin Smith of Abington ran a PA#8 time of 2:00.02 in the 800 meter run.George School girls ran a PA#10 time of 4:08.75 in the 4x400 meter relay. Great Valley boys ran a PA#2 time of 10:36.89 in the distance medley relay, and Joseph Toole of Great Valley ran a PA#8 time of 9:06.74 in the 3000 meter run. Chloe Schmidt of State College took over the state lead in the 800 meter run with her US#3 time of 2:14.39. Christal Watkins of Norristown finished 2nd in the 200 meter dash with a PA#6 time of 25.99. Tori Gerlach of Pennridge ran a PA#2 and US#6 time of 10:04.12 to win the 3000 meter run. Norristown ran a PA#3 time of 1:45.19 to win the 4x200 meter relay, Methacton ran a PA#3 time of 4:04.51 to beat out PA#4 Norristown (4:05.74) and PA#5 Phoenixville (4:06.05) in the 4x400 meter relay. Larissa Debich of Hempfield cleared a PA#2 mark of 12-1 to win the poloe vault. Gabby Becattini of Methacton placed 2nd in the long jump (17-05.50) and triple jump (36-10.50). Margo Britton of Dallastown threw 38-10.50 to win the shot put.
For the boys, Chris Williams of Strath Haven regained his NATIONAL lead in the 60 meter hurdles with a winning time of 7.99. Christian Lupica of Holy Ghost Prep ran a US#6 time of 8.23 to finish 2nd. Williams also added a pole vault victory with a 14 foot clearance. Wade Endress of Altoona took over the state lead in the 800 meter run with a US#5 time of 1:55.89. Andy Flynn of Cumberland Valley was 2nd (1:56.70, US#7) and Tommy Timmins of Phoenixville was 3rd (1:57.14). All three performances top the the state list. Endress also ran a PA#2 time of 4:20.90 to win the one mile run. Ed Schrom of Central Dauphin was 2nd in 4:21.55 (PA#4). Tyler Smith of Norristown ran 6.99 (6.97 prelim, US#8) to win the 60 meter dash and become the 2nd PA sprinter (first FAT time) to break 7 seconds this season. Greg Garmon of McDowell ran a PA#2 and US#9 time of 22.43 to win the 200 meter dash, Manny Collins of Strath Haven ran a PA#2 and US#9 time of 49.40 to win the 400 meter dash. Ryan Hartzel became the new state leader in the 3000 meter run with his US#4 winning time of 8:52.42. Strath Haven ran a PA#2 time of 1:31.08 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Downingtown West was 2nd in 1:31.79 (PA#4) with Penncrest 3rd in 1:32.04 (PA#7). Strath Haven added a 4x400 meter relay gold with a PA#2 and US#5 time of 3:23.14. Kevin Day of Glen Mills cleared 6-4 to win the high jump. Lucas Grudi of Hershey won the triple jump with a mark of 43-07. Kyle Long of Hempfield threw 52-03.75 to win the shot put.

Angel Piccirrillo of Homer Center punched her ticket for Millrose by equalling her indoor personal best in the one mile run with her winning time of 4:56.52. Piccirrillo is the first girl in PA to break 5 minutes this season and is US#10 on the year.
Taylor Morgan of Upper Dublin joined the big crowd at US#1 in the high jump with her best meet mark of 5-8. Kristen Thomas of Hallahan ran a PA#4 time of 9.13 to finish 6th in the invite 55 meter hurdles. Kenesha Brown of Easton finished 5th in the invitational 500 meter dash in 1:18.04. Madeline Eustache of Upper Darby had the 3rd best long jump mark with a mark of 17-04.
Anna McCloskey of Cardinal O'Hara had the best shot put mark on the day with a throw of 41-06.75 and reclaimed the state lead with that mark. Diamond Hodge of Girls High had the 5th best mark in the triple jump with her mark of 35-07.25. In the relays, Upper Darby took over the state lead with a 2nd place finish in the 4x200 meter relay in a US#3 time of 1:42.24 and they finished 5th in the 4x400 meter relay with a PA#2 time of 4:03.80. Strath Haven was 6th in 4:06.24.
For the boys, Dustin Wilson of Chestnut Hill Academy was 6th in the invitational mile with a state leading time of 4:17.79. Laye Samoura of Coatesville was 3rd in the invite 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.84. Nick Swan of North Penn had the best high jump mark on the day with a clearance of 6-4. Sean Burns of Delaware Valley took over the state lead in the pole vault with a meet leading mark of 15-02. In the relays, Cardinal O'Hara was 4th in the 4x200 meter relay with a state #2 time of 1:31.35. Cheltenham was 6th in 1:31.70, but ran a state leading and US#2 time of 1:29.74 in the prelims. Penn Wood finished 5th in the 4x400 meter relay in a PA#2 time of 3:26.99.
