PA ALL-TIME RECORDS

Wade Endress, Altoona, broke the All-Time State Record in the 800, going 1:51.73. The mark of 1:51.79 had been set by Tom Mallon, Central Bucks South, on 2/21/09 at PTFCA Indoor State Championships. Endress was also named Male Athlete of the Meet, thanks to his 4:13.34 win in the mile, as well.

Central Bucks West defeats Abington and takes over the All-Time State Record in the process with a US#7 AT 7:45.06. The mark of 7:45.93 was set earlier this season by Abington @ New Balance Collegiate Invitational, 2/4/11 at New York Armory, NYC

Sara Sargent, Pennsbury, went 9:49.27 in the 3000, to eclipse the PA All-Time mark of 9:54.56, set by Central Cambria's Carly Seymour in 2008 at the PTFCA Champs.

Leah Nugent, Abington, was named Female Athlete of the Meet. Her meet record of 8:45 in the 60 Meter Hurdles was just .01 better than Coughlin's Shelley Black. The state meet mark had been set in 2008 by Methacton's Ryann Krais.

North Penn set the state meet mark in the Distance Medley Relay with their 12:08.32, breaking the 2008 mark of 12:13.62, set by Downingtown East.

The Abington Girls won the team title with 47 points. Strath Haven was 2nd with 26.

The Abington boys won the team title with 40 points, a mere two points ahead of Cheltenham.
