At the Spiked Shoe in State College, emerging state star Katherine Ward of State College won in a PR of 18:35 over some tough competition, including Shikellamy's Lindsey Scheller, Hazleton's Maria Monks, and Dallas' Lisa Giacometti in 2nd-4th. Scheller and Monks took a two-second wrong turn at one point, but quickly rejoined Ward on the correct course. The Morgantown WV girls were ten better than Governor Mifflin. In the boys race, it was Strongsville OH by 12 over State College, with Mike Guest of Hazleton as the top PA finisher in 3rd. Noel Bateman of Aquinas Institute NY won in 15:43.
