Sophomore Sarah Lonzi of Bradford took 1st place in an outstanding time of 19:10, breaking her own course record by 30 seconds. The 3.1 mile course is loaded with big hills but Lonzi had no trouble. Elk County Christian won the team title over Bradford but had to go to the tie breaker. Each school recorded 43 points, but Elk\'s number 6 runner decided the meet. Elk was led by 2nd place finisher, Sandy Newell.

The Bradford boys easily won their 2nd straight Bradford Invitational with a score of 34 points, outdistancing 2nd place Oswayo Valley, who had 94. Bradford was led by Junior Jared Feura who took 3rd place overall in a fine time of 17:05 on the very tough 3.1 mile hilly course. Sophomore Tyler Prokop of Elk County Christian was the individual winner in a time of 16:59. Tyler is only the 2nd guy to break 17 minutes on this course. Junior Chris Bogenschutz of Otto-Eldred led most of the way but was edged out by a scant 2 seconds. The top 3 guys had strong races. Bradford\'s Steve Kirkland was 4th and Punxy\'s Derek Wineberg rounded out the top five. Other Bradford runners took 6th, 9th,12th,13th, and 18th to lock up the team title.
