Scott Van Kooten won the Varsity A Race in 16:11, with teammate Dario Donatelli 3rd in 16:23, but North Allegheny, behind Pat Morgan\'s 5th place 16:33, beat Pittsburgh Central Catholic by 40 with five in top 21. Natalie Bower is rocking western PA cross country this season, and she has company. Two teammates joined her in the top five at the Pittsburgh Central Catholic Invitational to lead Latrobe to a 41-72 win over North Allegheny in the Varsity A Race. Bower ran 18:47 for an eight-second win over Zaratiza Petrova of Mount Lebanon. In the Varsity B Race, Punxsutawney held off Greensburg Central Catholic by two points, despite the win by Central\'s LASLY in 19:36. Jera Mennetti led Punxsutawney with a 3rd place. And in the boys\' Varsity B race, it was Canon MacMillan by 46 over Greensburg Central Catholic behind Nate Tovarnik\'s 3rd place 16:58. Sewickley\'s Kenny Burgess won in 16:45.
