Pitt sophomore Sam Bair (Shaler ) won the Mile in 4:00.14 (NCAA Provisional) ( (61.2h, 2:00.7h, 3:00.9h, 4:00.14 FAT - provided by Mark Schwartz)... with Robert Morris sophomore Mike Booth (West Mifflin) 4th in 4:06.50. Pitt sophomore Mike Wray (Central -Phil), was 3rd in the 60 Hurdle in qualifying, going 8.03. Penn State grad (junior eligibility) Steve Meyers (Conestoga), won the Shot Put with an NCAA Provisional 58-08;Pitt junior Justin Clickett (Union City) was 2nd in the Shot Put with a throw of 58-00.25, with Dane Miller (Schuylkill Valley), 3rd at 56-10.75. Villanova junior Drew Eckman (Oxford) took 3rd in the 800 in 1:51.94 and anchored the 4x400 to a 3:13.91 win. Saint Joseph's senior Mike DiDio (Council Rock North) was 4th in the 3000, going 8:20.95. In the 5000, Penn State senior Chris Nirschel (Fox Chapel) was 3rd in 14:30.06, with Saint Joseph junior Teddy Meyers (Bethel Park) 4th in 14:31.45. Penn State freshman Ryan Fritz (Octorara) was 2nd in the High Jump, clearing 6-10.75, with Penn State senior Tyler Fedeli (Altoona) 3rd, clearing the same height. The Penn State 4x800 was 3rd with Central High grad, sophomore Michael Syrnick, Ceder Cliff grad, frosh Tim Johnson, and North Penn grad, senior Dan Michael, timed in 7:49.64. Duquesne won the DMR in 9:5.99 with an all-PA squad of senior Zack Dorman (West Allegheny), senior John Heinlein (Our Lady of Sacred Heart), freshman Tim Majewski (Mercyhurst Prep), and senior Gary Malinko (Scranton Prep).

Bucknell junior Melanie Buczko (Butler ), 2nd in PV 23-03.50, with Pitt senior Marissa Dudek (St. Pius X ) 3rd clearing the same height. In the 5000, Maryland senior Katie Purcell (Our Lady of Sacred Heart) was 2nd in 16:58.37, with Pitt senior Nicki Angstadt (Fleetwood) 4th in 17:09.82. Bucknell junior Christa Sawko (Montoursville ) - 4th in 800 in 2:12.05. Pitt junior Julianna Reed (Hampton ) was 5th in the 400 in 57.08.
