Chris Solinsky will be joining Amy Rudolph to speak at the Cal U Cross Country Campthis year on August 1st.

Solinsky broke the American record for the 10km in 2010 and was ranked number #3 in the World that year.

In addition to winning 8 Wisconsin state titles in HS, Chris also won the Foot Locker championship by the largest margin of victory back in 2002, and then went on to win 5 NCAA national titles at the University of Wisconsin.
His other PR’s are 3:54 for the mile, 7:34 for 3,000m, and 12:55 for the 5,000m.
Amy Rudolph is a 2-time Olympian, 6-time US Champion, former US Record Holder in the 5km, NCAA Champion, and multiple time PIAA Champion. Amy was also a member of the US team that finished second at the 2002 World Cross Country Championships.
Born in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania, Amy won state titles while at Kane Area HS in district 9.
Her PR’s are 4:27 for the mile, 8:39.86 for the 3,000m, 14:56.04 for the 5,000m (former US record), and 31:18 for the 10,000m.
The lecture will begin at 6pm in Old Main Chapel on the main campus of California University of Pennsylvania. Please park in Lot 4.
