LaSalle's Bruce Pohlet bettered his outdoor PCL championship effort by six inches, taking the Shot Put competition by over five feet with a throw of 54-05. Steve Hallinan, Cardinal O'Hara, and Tim O'Neil, St. Joe's Prep,battled in a fast early season mile, with Hallinan gaining the win by .6 with a 4:28.6. Teammate Mike Callanan took the 3000 in 9:11.9. LaSalle junior Chris Ross went 2:02.1 in the 800.
