3/1 - PTFCA Indoor State Championships Summary Don Rich Mar 01, 2003

Five Meet Records. Top five US performances including a 63-04.25 Shot Put, a 23-10.50 Long Jump, and a 47.65 400. Dropped batons by the favorites. Gutsy winning performances by lots of underdogs. Even more snow is PA. All in all, it was your typical PTFCA Indoor Championship Meet. ONE OF THE TOP THREE INDOOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS IN THE US YEAR AFTER YEAR! 

2/21 - Hatboro-Horsham improve on US#3 DMR Don Rich Feb 21, 2003

Hatboro-Horsham girls (below) improve their US#4 DMR to 12:22.43 behind Nicole Murphy (2:25), Megan Rae (.65), Caitlin Klaas 3:47 and Janine Ricci (5:04). Ricci also went 10:22.05 in the 3K and 1:03.6 in 4x400.

2/15 - Mark Korich comes away with great performances at PTFCA Carnival Don Rich Feb 15, 2003

In the biggest PA meet of the season, 167 teams (178 had sent in applications) with over 1500 athletes descended on Lehigh University for a smoothly run nearly eight-hour meet with 20 Dyestat Elite performances. The most impressive athlete of the indoor season continues to be Springfield (Montco) senior MarkKorich, who won the mile in 4:22.27, the 800 in 1:56.07 and came from way behind in the 4x800 to bring his team into sixth place.

1/31 - Kate Papenberg edges out Koons Don Rich Jan 31, 2003

Juniors Kate Papenberg, Red Lion, and Frances Koons, Allentown Central Catholic, battled in both individual distance races. Papenberg captured the 3200 by two seconds over Koons, going 11:24. In the 1600, both were timed in 5:22, with Papenberg again getting the edge.

1/30 - Hatboro-Horsham squad posts US#3 Don Rich Jan 30, 2003

Improving performances on the track and in the field events, including a new US#3 and #4 DMR as the Hatboro-Horsham squad of Nicole Murphy, Megan Rae, Caitlin Klass and Janine Ricci went 12:23.9 to beat St. Hubert's by less than three seconds

1/25 - PA athletes compete at NBN Don Rich Jan 25, 2003

In a meet where elite shared the atmosphere, and sometimes the track, with high school athletes, PA performed well, as several individuals and teams took home first place medals.
