At the CITIBANK HISPANIC GAMES at the New York Armory, Cheltenham senior Brandon Bing introduced himself to the 2007 national scene by taking two races, the 55 and 200 (US#1). Bing beat some great competition, including Simon Gratz junior Khaliff Featherstone, 5th in the 200. Featherstone took second in the finals of the 400, the fourth fastest time on the day. At Saturday\'s TSTCA INDOOR MEET #1@ the University of Pittsburgh, the throws were, as always, out there. There is a new #1 in the state in the shot put, as Hempfield senior Westin Banks unleashed a throw over 57\'. At the KUTZTOWN INVITATIONAL, Chanelle Price of Easton sent more shockwaves through the state and beyond following her 12/29 Burdette Classic performance. She became the first PA girl to go under five this season. Second in the race was Central Cambria junior Carly Seymour. She most likely would have been closer to Price, but it was Seymour\'s second race of the day. She won the meet\'s opening event, the 3000, in one of the top times in the state. At the TFCAGP D1 INDOOR MEET #5 @ Haverford College, Glen Mill\'s Bernard Goodwyn ripped the 400. Jay Pittenger continued his strong high jumps, In the 60 hurdles, Archbishop Ryan\'s Kashif Thompson posted a PA#1 tie. At the TFCAGP D2 INDOOR MEET #5 @ Haverford College, there were some pretty impressive meet records rewritten. The DMR mark of 10:41.1 was set in 1987 by Penncrest. Well, Wissahickon and West Chester Henderson both crushed it. Penn Charter\'s Dareem David broke the 2003 meet record of 6.9 by Conwell-Egan\'s Steve Slaton in the 60 dash. Chestnut Hill Academy\'s Wayne Crawford neared his season best in the shot put. At the LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE INDOOR MEET #1, two girls cleared 5-04. At her home championships, she threw over 47 for the third time this season. Penn Wood\'s girls posted the best 4x200 in the state so far, holding off three other teams by less than two seconds as well.
