SPRING-FORD INVITATIONAL
FRIDAY, March 31, 2017 --- 4:00 PM -- SPRING-FORD HIGH SCHOOL
We want to provide an early season opportunity for Penn Relays qualifiers in some distance races and allow for development of athletes running a variety of relay events. The track was resurfaced this summer and should run fast! Entries will be done via Milesplit and all track events will be FAT. Throwing fields are located next to the 8th grade center and are accessible to the track near the start/finish line.
ENTRY FEES - $125/GENDER OR $250 FOR BOTH TEAMS.
We will be limiting to 15 teams maximum.
Athletes are limited to 4 total events. PIAA rules will apply.
No coaches will be asked to work the meet.
EQUIPMENT: Spikes of 1/4 pyramid only. Starting blocks will be provided. Competitors will use their own shots, discs and javelins provided that they meet specifications. All poles must be marked by weight and PIAA Pole Vault verification forms must be turned in.
PRIZES: Medals will be awarded to the top six in each event.
CLOSING OF ENTRIES: Entries must be received via Milesplit by March 29th.

Additional Information:
We are asking that no busses park in the school lots until after the normal bus run departs at 3:00. Teams dropping off prior to 3:00 will be asked to return after that time. There will be a snack bar with Chik-Fil-A, pizza and other miscellaneous items. Tee Shirts will be on sale for $15.

Javelin will run after the conclusion of shot and discus/open pit
(if there are workers to run an open pit with all 3 we will do so starting jav at 4:00)
