The Blue Jay High School Invitational hosted by Elizabethtown College
Elizabethtown College is proud to host the 2nd annual Blue Jay High School Invitational on its lightning fast Mondo surface. The surface was installed in 2015, and is Mondos state-of-the-art system.
DATE: Saturday 4/22/17

TEAM ENTRY FEE: $200 per gender/$400 total OR$20 per individual & $25 per relay.

TIMING: Fully automatic timing will be provided. No changes the day of the event.
ENTRIES:
Enter by invitation only via pa.milesplit.com. Deadline is Thursday 4/20/17 at 10pm.
No more than four entries per team in track events.
Each team may enter one team per relay event
Field events are capped at 30 athletes each. Each school is guaranteed two entries; remaining slots will be filled by seeding. Use only 2017 performances for seeding.
AWARDS:
Championship plaque will be awarded to the winning teams; no AA/AAA class distinction.
Individual event winners will be awarded medals
SOUVENIR SHIRTS: Invitational shirts will be for sale at the meet. Email falkb@etown.edu to preorder.
PARKING: Information will be provided with final meet info.
RESTROOMS/LOCKER ROOMS: RESTROOMS LOCATED IN THOMPSON GYM, NEXT TO THE VENUE. LOCKER ROOM SPACE IS MINIMAL. NO SPIKES MAY BE WORN IN THE BUILDING.

NOTES:
1. Blocks will be supplied.
2. All running events are finals based on time; sections will run FAST to SLOW.
3. Top 9 advance to field event finals, seeded worst to best.
4. 3/16 or 1/4 PYRAMID spikes only! No needle spikes. Spikes will be checked by officials.
5. Teams may set up in the bleachers or on the grass areas around the track. The infield is off-limits.
6. Attention-seeking behavior in the 2k steeplechase will not be tolerated. Cannonballs or other theatrics will disqualify the athlete AND retroactively nullify all prior performances in the meet. The offending athlete will be removed from the results, and not permitted in next years event.
