Meet Information
THE ROBERT K. REMALEY ANNUAL TRACK AND FIELD INVITATIONAL
RULES
1. Schools may enter up to three persons in each event, except in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
2. Schools may enter up to two persons in each the Long Jump and Triple Jump without a qualifying distance. A school may enter a THIRD person in either/both the Long Jump and Triple Jump only if all three of their entries in that specific event meet the following qualifying distances:
LONG JUMP: BOYS-17 feet, GIRLS-13 feet
TRIPLE JUMP: BOYS-37 feet, GIRLS-30 feet
3. Limit of one relay team from each school in each relay.
4. A SCRATCH SHEET will be available after 8:00 A.M. for coaches to record their scratches.
5. Trials will be held in the 100M, 110M High Hurdle boys and 100M High Hurdle girls events with the best times advancing to finals. If heats are needed in other running events, the places will be determined by time. All running events are in metric distances.
6. All throws will be measured
7. In the Shot Put, Javelin, Discus, each athlete will be given three preliminary throws with the seven best distance athletes qualifying for the three final throws. The final throws will be taken immediately after the preliminary throws.
8. Long Jump and Triple Jump will be run in an open pit format. Pit will remain open for 1 hour for each event, with each athlete taking 4 jumps.
9. Each contestant may enter no more than four events, including relays.
10. Points will be awarded as follows: 10-8-6-4-2-1
11. Ribbons will be awarded to the top six finishers in each event. Trophies will be awarded to the Champion and two runner-up teams in both boys and girls.
12. Please E-MAIL your roster with graduation date for the program. It will be duplicated the way we get it.
13. There will be a coaches meeting at 9:00 A.M. the day of the meet.
14. We would appreciate any help with hurdle moving.
TRACK INFORMATION
1. All weather track 3/16 spikes or flats NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. We will supply all starting blocks.
3. Hard surfaced areas for all field events
4. PLEASE NOTE opening heights on Pole Vault and High Jump events.
5. We will have a trainer all day.
