Meet Information
On behalf of the Selinsgrove Area School District and the Selinsgrove Area Boys and Girls track teams, we would like to invite your team to participate in the 2020 Don Wilhour Selinsgrove Classic Track and Field Meet. You are limited to three athletes per event. Medals will be awarded to the top six athletes in each event. No team score will be kept. The Selinsgrove track is a six lane all weather surface. There are two pits for long and triple jump with all-weather surface runways. The shot and discus circles are concrete. The javelin runway is a NEW, all-weather track surface. The athletes may not wear spikes longer than 1/4 inch on the track. The timing will be done with an FAT timing system.
This years meet is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th. Scratches will be due by 9:00 am. There will be a coaches meeting beginning at 8:45 am on the turf field near the finish line tent. Weigh-Ins will be located under the home bleachers closest to the finish line beginning at 8 am. The first field event is scheduled for 9:15am. Track events will begin at 10 am. All track events will be finals on times. Long Jump and Triple Jump will be an open pit. The entry fee is $150.00 per team ($300.00 per combined teams) if received prior to the meet. Day of meet or late payment will be $175.00 per team ($350 combined). Please make sure to have your payment in on time!!!
