16th PIAA Foundation XC Invitational 2022

Timing/Results PIAA

Meet Information

Please NOTE (8-29-22): The PIAA Foundation will no longer be accepting entry from Non-Bordering States. Any teams wishing to enter must be from a PIAA member or a bordering state of PA. The deadline for NFHS Sanctioning has closed and late fees will not be paid for non-bordering state participation.

Entry: Team entries will be accepted on a first come, first entered basis. Individual entries from students representing PIAA member schools that DO NOT sponsor a cross country Team during the Regular Season that participates in at least 50% of the maximum permitted number of Regular Season Contests in that sport, will be accepted. Those students must meet all PIAA eligibility requirements, must wear a school-issued cross country uniform, and will not be eligible to receive a Team score. Teams that wish to participate in the varsity race with less than five runners, will be permitted to do so; however, they will not be eligible to receive a Team score.

Race timing for the varsity races will be performed by Runner's High.  Teams will be allowed to run a maximum of seven (7) runners, but no fewer than five (5) runners if wishing to score. PIAA reserves the right to move teams into races other than their respective class, if needed to complete the field.

Awards: The top two (2) teams in each race will receive championship and runner-up awards, respectively. Also, the top twenty (20) individuals will receive medals signifying their top twenty-finish in each race.

JV races will be limited to 10 runners per school. The top 20 finishers will receive an appropriate recognition of their finish. Awards will be held behind the starting area at the Parkview Cross Country Course.

Registration will begin at 7:30 AM at the finish area, which can be accessed from Hockersville Road, adjacent from the starting area of the Parkview Cross Country Course. Registration packets will contain all entries, names, timing bibs, and member schools, by classification, with starting line assignments. The course will be open from 7:30 AM until the end of the last race on Saturday. All tents and equipment must be removed by 4:00 PM.
