2/7-Beltz takes over top spot in PA 3000m, James is PA#2 in LJ @ Gill Athletics Invite @ Kutztown

Adriene Beltz of Hamburg took over the top spot in the PA girls\' 3000 from middle school phenom Alex Brasington, going 10:06.12 for the win. Maria Truskey, Central Dauphin, was 2nd in 10:31.51, while Christa Plummer, Palisades, took 3rd in 10:41.93. Truskey also took 3rd in the 1600, going 5:19.58 for the difficult double. Perkiomen Valley\'s Sarah Roberts was the 1600 champ at 5:13.64, while Kate Thaeder, Unionville, was 2nd in 5:16.24. In the boys Long Jump, Central Dauphin\'s Jamal James was 2nd with a PA #2 21-10.75. First went to Vineland NJ\'s Jamal Byrd, with a 22-01.25 leap. Read more highlights in the complete meet summary.
