Adriene Beltz of Hamburg took over the top spot in the PA girls\' 3000 from middle school phenom Alex Brasington, going 10:06.12 for the win. Maria Truskey, Central Dauphin, was 2nd in 10:31.51, while Christa Plummer, Palisades, took 3rd in 10:41.93. Truskey also took 3rd in the 1600, going 5:19.58 for the difficult double. Perkiomen Valley\'s Sarah Roberts was the 1600 champ at 5:13.64, while Kate Thaeder, Unionville, was 2nd in 5:16.24. In the 55 dash, Janessa Murphy, Great Valley went 7.27 for the win. In the 55 Hurdles, it was Kate Noonan-Sessa, Owen J. Roberts, 1st in 8.67. Two fast 400\'s with Milton Hershey\'s Abigail Johnson, home first in 58.78, followed closely by Chanel Williams, Plymouth Whitemarsh, in 59.86. Gwynedd Mercy went 9:50.48 for teh 4x800 win, with Cardinal O\'Hara close behind in 9:56.50. More great Shot Put performances, with first going to Sylvia Galarzc, Millville NJ (current US#2 @ 44-03.75), at 44-00.50. Harrisburg\'s Brianna Flagg, was 2nd (39-05.50), with Becky Eisenhauer, Cedar Crest, 3rd (37-07.25). In the boys Long Jump, Central Dauphin\'s Jamal James was 2nd with a PA #2 21-10.75. First went to Vineland NJ\'s Jamal Byrd, with a 22-01.25 leap. Ryan Whiting, Central Dauphin, put the shot 59-11.50 for the win.
In the 55 dash, Desroy Miller, William Allen, took first in 6.53, with Phoenixville\'s Quenton Boyer 2nd at 6.60. Phillipsburg NJ\'s Justin Gayman, won the 55 Hurdles in 7.79, with Northampton\'s Jeff Pammer 2nd in 7.82. In the High Jump, Schuylkill Valley\'s Jeffrey Minnich cleared 6-06, while in the Pole Vault, it was Brian Dodds of Wilson first with a clearance of 14-01. Other notable performances: 3000: Nick Brousse, Carlisle 9:16.57, Steve Finley, Parkland, 9:16.82, plus Southern Lehigh\'s 3:30.47 in the 4x400.
