MEET RULES:

1. All coaches need to submit their teams' entry information on www.pa.milesplit.com by Friday, May 3rd, 2024 (noon).

2. 1/8 or 1/4 inch (recessed) pyramid spikes only on the track, long jump, high jump, and pole vault runways.

3. Only water or Gatorade is permitted on the track or in the infield. No food, gum, candy, etc. will be permitted on the track or in the infield. 

4. Port Allegany will provide the starting blocks.

5. Each team is permitted to enter unlimited athletes per event.

6. No spectators are permitted inside the track (infield). This includes the throwing areas. Visiting coaches are asked to help police the infield. Athletes participating and coaches are permitted inside the track during competition in designated areas only.

7. Locker room space will be available upon request but nothing will be permitted to be stored inside.

8. Spectators are prohibited from designated areas located by the field events.

9. Restrooms are located in the high school.

10. Practice throwing, jumping, and vaulting can only be done at the event site when the event judge is present for supervision. No practicing will be permitted after the event has completed. The bar will not be up when practicing high jump or pole vault.

11. A concession stand will be available throughout the day. 

12. Team tents may be set up inside the track complex but cannot be placed in the infield or in the bleachers.

13. When you arrive at the meet each coach may scratch athletes in track events and reseeding will be done.  Scratches need to be done by 9:15 am.  Scratches for field events can be done at the event.

14. All rules established by PIAA for track meets will be enforced.

15. Officials will be present and their decisions will be final in the event of conflicts.

16. The meet will follow the regular PIAA order of events.

17. All events are FINALS. Best times place using the electronic timing device. All field event people will have three (3) tries/ attempts. High jump and pole vault tries are final. Long and triple jumps will be run using the "OPEN PIT" format.

18. Only meet officials will be permitted at the finish line.
