MileSplit Entry System Instructions
All:
You need a MileSplit username and password. If you don't already have one, on the top right of the page (under the Universal logo and search box), there is a link that says "Register or login". Click on Register and on the following page fill out form and send and an email will be sent to you with a temporary password that you can change after your first login.
The email should arrive within a few minutes at most. If you do not receive it, check your spam or junk mail folder. It may have been mistakenly filtered there. If it's still not there, some internet providers filter mail even more agressively, so it could be catching it or delaying it.
Team Entries:
Once you have that you can claim your team and once approved you are able to manage your roster, add correct grad years etc.
To claim your team, make sure you are logged in and on the nav bar on YOUR state page, go to teams/list of schools, then scroll down to select your school. On your school page you should see a claim this team button to the right of the school name. Click, fill out and send and you will receive an email giving you approval to access the team roster. Once that approval comes, in the same position as the claim this team you will see a Team administration button. Click that and you will now have the administrative access to edit and add to your roster.
If your school team, or club team is not in our system, please email name and address of School/Club to grich@milesplit.us.
Individual Entries
To register as an individual in a meet, if you are in our system you must first "claim your athlete profile" and be approved by the team admin or webmaster.
The system will prompt you to search for your name.
If you do not already have a profile on MileSplit, you can create one without approval. Please be sure it doesn't already exist, so as not to create duplicates.
