Participating schools must be members of the Westmoreland Area Athletic Directors Association (WAADA). Entry deadline is Tuesday, May 6, at 11:00 PM.
Enter and compete three (3) athletes per individual event and one (1) relay team.
Tentative Schedule:
12:30 PM - Coaches Meeting: Coaches must submit entries/scratches. Officiating: Each team is asked to provide Coaches to assist in the Field Events. A link will be sent to each team as they register for the meet to sign up volunteer coaches. Volunteer coaches will receive the field event score sheets, tape measures, markers, etc. Coaches will be assigned exchange zones for the 4 x 100M relays. Vaulters will be weighed, Verification Forms must be signed and submitted, and poles will be checked. Throwing implements will be checked and weighed.
Field event athletes will be assigned into flights based on individual seed marks. Seven (7) competitors will advance to the finals.
1:00 PM - FIELD EVENTS
First Flights of the Boys' Shot Put and Girls' Discus (Girls' Shot Put and Boys' Discus will follow).
First Flights of the Girls' Long Jump and Boys' Triple Jump (Boys' Long Jump and Girls' Triple Jump will follow).
Girls' Pole Vault and Boy's High Jump (Girls' High Jump and Boys' Pole Vault will follow). The "Five Alive" method will be used for these events. Starting heights will be determine after evaluating the entries.
2:00 PM - UPDATE: TRACK EVENT SEMIFINALS AND 4 X800M RELAY FINALS
Semifinals of Girls' 100M Hurdles (Twelve fastest times advance to finals)
Semifinals of Boys' 110M Hurdles. (Twelve fastest times advance to finals)
Semifinals of Girls' 100M Dash (Twelve fastest times advance to finals)
Semifinals of Boys' 100M Dash (Twelve fastest times advance to finals)
Finals of Girls' 4 x 800M Relay
Finals of Boys' 4 x 800M Relay
Semifinals of Girls' 200M Dash (Twelve fastest times advance to finals)
Semifinals of Boys' 200M Dash (Twelve fastest times advance to finals)
UPDATE: TRACK EVENT FINALS - 45 Minutes after the last 200M Semifinal
All Track Event Finals will follow the normal sequence of events and will be Girls then Boys. A Tentative Schedule is available on the Official Meet Web Site.
NOTE: If the meet is ahead of schedule, please alert your athletes and spectators that the meet will continue. Athletes must listen to the event calls and must warm up before reporting to the Clerk of Course. Athletes must be ready to compete when they report to the starting line.
