Meet Information
Teams/spectators should not arrive before 10:00 AM. All spectators should park at the High School and use the ramp/main entrance to Trojan Field. Spectators are not permitted to park in the Elementary School parking lot or the end zone parking lots.
DUE TO HOME BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL GAMES AT 4:00, THE FIELD HOUSE LOT WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR TRACK MEET PARKING. BUSES WILL PARK IN THE NORTH END ZONE LOT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE FOOTBALL FIELD. ONLY BUSES, SCHOOL VANS, OFFICIALS, AND CALIFORNIA STAFF MAY PARK THERE. EVERYONE ELSE MUST PARK AT THE HIGH SCHOOL AND ENTER THE STADIUM THROUGH THE MAIN GATES.
Please do not seat your team in the stands or on the field. Tents may be set up outside the fence over the portable bleachers or in the grass near the back straightaway. All of the gates to the track will be open except near the finish line.
Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for youth.
The coaches' meeting will be at 10:45 AM near the scorers' tent.
- The Girls' High Jump, Boys' Pole Vault, Boys' Javelin, Girls' Long Jump, and Boys' Triple Jump will begin at 11:15 AM
- Long and Triple jump pits will be open for 60 minutes, and then they will switch to boys or girls.
- Boys' Discus and Girls' Shot Put will begin after the javelin ends. These events will be followed immediately by the opposite (girls will go to boys and boys will go to girls)
- The track events will start at 12:15 PM.
- The standard order of events will be used. NO TRIALS. All events will be a FINAL.
- Each event will be limited to 3 entries, except for relays - 1 relay team per school. No "B" relay teams.
- Heats will be run from slowest to fastest, except for the distance events.
- Separate heats will be held for the boys and girls 800 and 1600. The 3200 may be combined depending on the number of entries. This will be determined at the coaches' meeting.
- Throwing and jumping events will be limited to 3 throws/jumps.
- All javelin and discus marks will be measured and rounded down to the nearest inch.
- Short lines may be used for field events, but only after each athlete has one recorded attempt.
- The starting height for the girls' high jump will be 4'-5", and the boys will be 5'-5".
- The starting height for the girls' pole vault will be 5'-1", and the boys will be 6'-1".
- Medals will be awarded to the top 4 individuals per event and each of the top 3 relay teams.
- We will have a medal stand to recognize the winner upon verification of each event's results.
- The winner of each event will be declared the 2026 Section 6-AA Champion.
- Only the winning athletes or their coaches will be permitted to collect medals.
