Coaches/ADs,

River Valley Track and Field would like to invite you and your teams to the 2026 River Valley 9th and 10th Grade Track and Field Invitational at River Valley High School. Our brand new, 8-lane Hellas EpiQ track will provide your athletes with fast times and an exciting meet! We are easily accessible via Rt. 22 and Rt.119. We hope that you will join us for an exciting day of track and field competition for Freshman and Sophomore student athletes.

Entry Fee:$140 per Team, Boys and Girls are separate teams or $20 

per individual athlete.  Not to exceed $280 per school.

ARRIVAL: Please have your team buses drop you off by 2:00 pm. Our afternoon buses begin to line up at 2:00 pm, meaning we need your team buses to drop you off and leave campus by 2:00 pm. Teams may arrive no earlier than 1:15 pm. Buses will be instructed to leave campus during MS/HS and Elementary departures and may return to campus to park after 4:00 pm. 

General Rules:

  1. All entries will be done online based on instructions sent by Gingerbread Man Timing company. No additional entries will be accepted after the registration deadline. Scratches will be reported at the coaches meeting, and all athletes will be required to declare following the girls 800m run so that re-seeding for efficiency can be done if necessary. We dont want heats with empty lanes. 

  2. NO team score is kept.

  3. NO team awards will be given.

  4. INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: Top 8 finishers receive ribbons. 

  5. Trials and Finals will be run for the 100mH, 110mH, and 100m Dash. The TOP 8 times will advance to the finals. 

  6. Each school may enter up to FOUR(4) participants per TRACK event. 

  7. Each school may enter ONE(1) relay team per event.

  8. Each school may enter Three(3) participants per FIELD event.

  9. SHOT PUT/DISCUS/JAVELIN: will all receive 4 throws, no finals.

  10. HORIZONTAL JUMPS: will all receive 4 jumps, no finals. 

  11. VERTICAL JUMPS: will run as normal through height progression. Starting heights determined by entries.

  12. SPIKES: Spikes for track events, jumping, and javelin shall be no longer than inch.

*All events will run Girls first, followed by Boys. *Subject to change based on entries and to get events completed before dusk.
